Let's have some fun... making up new theme acronyms. We can really let the creative juices flow...Ignite our thought processes a little... and build upon school spirit. These self creations are intended to inspire heightened school spirit, motivate staff andstudents and help teachers administer in a positive learning environment. Here's a very short tutorial on theme acronymsAcronyms defined - "A word formed from the initial letters of a name or by combining initialletters or parts of a series of words."
For example, take the first letter of each word in DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION and we get theacronym DOE.
Not all acronyms are pronounceable words - like "IAW" In Accordance With... instead each letteris spoken. And, we also have acronyms called initialisms, such as MCI, IBM, etc... Just to point out that we have nearly unlimited options as we create special theme ideas... We want them to be relevant to our school or community, and offer some inspiringmotivational content and perspective. "Here's one we just thought of... The word "PLEASE"... might be used as an acronymand convert to...

Often you can create a new theme concept, in theme acronym form, that includes your school'sinitials... everyone feels a part of the process and school spirit rockets ahead.
