Education Is Important!

Find a position that’s well suited to your skill set and then move forward in making a plan to get compensated accordingly.

Why Education Is Important For Each and Every Person

Maybe you’re in high school thinking about going to college. If you are, consider this:

With a bachelor’s degree, you’ll earn nearly $1 million more over your lifetime than a high school graduate. The typical K-12 education is not enough these days to stay above the pace of the cost of living.

A previous U.S. Census Bureau survey shows a college graduate can expect to earn $2.1 million working full-time between ages 25 and 64. If you continue and earn your master’s degree, you can expect to earn $2.5 million, while someone with a professional degree, such as a doctor or lawyer, could make even more – $4.4 million.

Higher education programs are key

Education is the key and perhaps it’s time to Find The Right College.

“There is a strong positive correlation between “Higher Ed” and income.” “The more you learn determines, on average, how much you earn. The  public gets it, and they are rushing to  increase their human capital.”

Previous U.S. Department of Ed statistics shows there were 15.5 million students enrolled in post-secondary schools and officials project the number will continue to rise. To put that number of college students in context, there are more than 15 million secondary-school students in the United States. We have more college students in the U.S. than high school students!

Isn’t that amazing? Do you see now why education is important? I think it’s pretty safe to say most people wouldn’t dream that we’d have more people trying to earn their college degree than we have in high school. And, it certainly shows why education is important.

In even knowing this information, many people still take Higher Ed for granted and that causes learning to be seen as a chore instead of a privilege. Keep in mind, not all success comes from classroom or public schools education. There’s a lot to be said for being street smart and character education too.
